I loved this commission SAVING EDEN, working with Creative Concern taking photos for the River Eden Trust Manifesto to save and secure the future of the River Eden in Cumbria. The brief was to capture the River in the landscape, and in parallel take portraits of the people who's lives and livelihoods are affected by it, to go alongside the case studies in the report. Despite the difficult weather conditions in December, everything from rain, mist, sunshine to frost and snow, the end result is the images look real and gritty, and not too beautiful, which is important in an environmental context.
